Mental Skills Training

The Core of Mental Performance Consulting

Mental Skills Training (MST), sometimes known as Psychological Skills Training (PST), is the development of mental skills through evidence-based tools and techniques, such as goal-setting, self-talk, imagery/visualization, arousal/emotional regulation, and attentional control.

Using mental tools and techniques can help performers develop the essential skills necessary to succeed in high-pressure situations. Some of these skills may include concentration and focus, motivation, confidence, managing emotions, and self-awareness,

Other topics that can be covered in training include leadership, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, personality, team culture/cohesion, time management/productivity, and work/school life balance.
