Testimonials

I never knew how much mental performance could make a difference in a player until coming to college. The weekly sessions made me recognize what I had to work on more as a player in the mental aspect of the game. Learning new strategies such as positive self-talk, journaling, and flow states has helped me become a stronger athlete. I have really enjoyed what we have been doing the past couple of months!

My experience with Savvy was one of the greatest things I’ve ever been through. She taught me a lot of new techniques to help me calm down and break things down. She taught us techniques for softball, but everything I learned can be used in different aspects of life as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed all six sessions. I learned so much about myself and more about how to handle different stressful situations. Each session taught me many different strategies that I find myself frequently relying on both in sports and in my day-to-day life. Great program!

I brought Savvy in last season to work with my entire team. She is relatable for athletes, empathetic and unbelievably knowledgable and good at what she does. I would, without reservation, recommend Savvy for any age athletes that want to take their game to the next level. She was a difference maker for us!

Savvy made me feel comfortable in an environment I would generally not be comfortable in. She came up with many fun, learning tools for her students to understand each mental skill. I was never bored and actually enjoyed talking about feelings that may be difficult to express.”

When we met with Savvy, she broke down the game for us. At the time I was really struggling mentally, telling myself I couldn’t do it. It’s because of her that I slowed everything down and looked at it from a different angle. Working with Savvy was the best thing that could have happened to me this season.

My experience with Savvy really helped my mental game as for the past few games I've been feeling more confident and less anxious by doing some of the techniques she taught us. When I see my mental side of the game grow in improvement, I also see some of the physical aspects grow in improvement as well.

Mental performance was something I was not too familiar with before becoming a student-athlete in college. With these sessions I was able to take what skills worked for me, like self-talk and energy inducing techniques, and use those to improve my overall performance. Over time I saw a great improvement in my game and my self-confidence after I had a few setbacks. These mental performance sessions provided me with skills and tools to help me overcome those setbacks and put me in a better position to succeed in everyday practice and even high pressure situations.

I honestly think that everything [Savvy] did was so beneficial in the mental aspect of our game. We don't realize how big of a part that plays when we are lifting, conditioning, practicing, or even playing a game. I have reflected on how much your tips and tricks have positively affected my mental game and I still use these tools today. I had such a positive, happy experience working with you in our mental performance sessions and our check-ins. I felt like every check-in was an absolute safe space and I felt more than comfortable to talk to you about anything going on and the feedback/advice you gave back to me was very helpful!
