Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a sport psychologist and a mental performance consultant?
A sport psychologist is a licensed mental health professional who can diagnose and treat mental health disorders (i.e., depression, anxiety, eating disorders, sleep disorders, etc.). Mental performance consultants are not required to obtain state licensure and primarily focus on performance enhancement. If you are struggling with mental health related issues, please consult with a licensed mental health professional.
Do you work with clients in person or virtually?
Both. All 1:1 sessions and group programs are virtual. This means SPC LLC works with clients all over the world! Depending on where you are located, we can discuss in-person options for live workshops.
Are payment plans available?
Yes! SPC LLC will work with clients to determine the best payment plan for their financial situation.
Do you take insurance?
No. Services provided by SPC LLC are not covered by health insurance. SPC LLC does not diagnose or treat mental health disorders or provide therapy.
Do you only work with competitive female athletes?
No. While SPC LLC specializes in working with competitive female athletes, we work with a diverse range of performers. This includes athletes across all sports and competitive levels, business executives, and other high-performing individuals. We work with people of all genders, age groups, and experience levels who are looking to improve performance, confidence, mental skills, and overall well-being.
